Interesting story-The wretched.


 Once upon a time a man lived in a city.The people of that city considered that person as wretched.

People used to say that if someone wakes up in the morning and sees that person's face, then he does not get food for the whole day.

Due to this superstition of the people, the person and his family used to be very upset.

Once the king of that city came to know about this.The king wanted to know how much truth was there in this, so he called that person to his royal palace.

That night the king made the person stay in the room just opposite to his room.The first thing the king got up in the morning went to that person's room and saw his face.On that day when the king was going to have food, at the same time such a case came due to which the king's whole day was spent in it.

Because of this, the king did not eat that whole day.In the evening, when the king sat down to eat, a fly fell in his food.By the time the cook brought another meal for the king, the king's hunger was over.Thus the king could not get food that whole day.

Now even the king was convinced that the man was wretched.For this reason the king sentenced that person to death.When the man's wife came to know about this, she ran to the saint.She narrated the whole incident to the saint.When the person was being taken to be hanged, the saint approached the person and handed him a slip.The saint told that person that you should send this slip to the king at the time of your last wish.That person did the same.When the king opened that slip, it was written in it that just by looking at my face, you did not get food for the whole day. But seeing your face first, I am getting the death penalty.Now you tell me who is the wretched?

After reading that slip, the king was very ashamed of being superstitious.

He immediately waived the man's death sentence and presented him with a lot of gifts.

  Long time ago there was a king.The king had no children.  The king thought that he would choose one of the children of the kingdom as his successor.  The king announced that each child would be given a seed and the one whose plant would grow best would become the king's successor.  All the children got one seed each.
