Inspirational story- Selfish friend


 Once upon a time there was a village.There lived a farmer's family and a woodcutter's family.

The farmer had a son and the woodcutter also had a son.Both the farmer's son and the woodcutter's son were very good friends.

Those two friends used to study together since childhood and spend more and more time together.The example of their friendship was given throughout the village.

Once upon a time, those two friends had to go to another village together for some work.Together they both left to go to another village.

The road was very long so both of them thought that why not we should go through the forest path as that road is very short and we will reach soon.

Thinking of this, both of them started on the path of the forest.After going further in the forest for some distance, suddenly they saw a bear coming at a short distance.

The woodcutter's son knew how to climb the tree, so he climbed up the tree on seeing beer.The farmer's son did not know how to climb trees, so he sought help from his friend.

But the woodcutter's son did not help him.Now the farmer's son had no way to escape the beer. So he held his breath and lay down on the ground.

The beer came close to him and kept going around and checking on him.After that, the beer left him there thinking it to be dead and left.

Shortly after the beer was gone, the woodcutter's son came down from the tree.He asked the farmer's son what was the beer doing around you?

Then the farmer's son told the woodcutter's son that beer was saying in my ear that never befriend a selfish person.

This story teaches us that we should never be friends with someone who is selfish. Because he would run away leaving us alone in times of trouble.
