Interesting story- Cunning jackal and rats


 Once upon a time there lived a jackal in a forest.It was very lazy and cunning.It used to feed his stomach by hunting rats and rabbits.

Due to being lazy, Jackal always used to think about how to get the victim on its own without working hard.

One day it saw many rats jumping near a tree.After a while when all the rats started going towards their burrows, then Jackal followed those rats and traced their burrows.

After that an idea came to that jackal's mind.As early as morning, he stood on one leg in front of the rats' burrows and looked up at the sky.

When the rats came out of their burrow they saw the jackal standing on one leg and looking at the sky, then he started thinking what is the matter?Somehow, a mouse dared to go to Jackal and asked why are you standing on one leg like this and looking at the sky?

The jackal said that God has given me a lot of power, due to which I have become very powerful.Now if I put the second leg on the earth then this earth will shake and all living beings will be killed. That's why I don't put my second leg on the earth.The jackal further said that I have turned my face towards the sky. So that I can eat air and satisfy my hunger.

Gradually, the rats started believing in the words of the jackal, due to which their fear from the jackal ended.The rats started passing around the jackal without fear.

Now the jackal used to stand on one leg every day in front of the rats' burrows.And when the rats used to come out of their burrows, then the Jackal used to catch some of the last rats and eat them.

Gradually the number of rats started decreasing.Then the chief of the rats, to find out about this, took some rats with him for one day and saw the jackal hiding behind the tree.

When the head of the rats saw that the jackal caught the rats and ate them. Then it gathered all the rats and attacked the jackal.The rats turned the jackal into a skeleton by biting them with their fangs.

Thus the lazy and cunning jackal got the punishment for his actions.
