Inspirational story- Fear of death


 Long time ago there was a saint.He used to tell a story to his followers that there was a fisherman.He made a living by catching fish from the sea and selling them in the market.

One day a childhood friend of that fisherman came to meet him.He asked the fisherman how is your father?

The fisherman told that his father is no longer alive. A big fish in the sea had swallowed his father.

His friend asked again and your elder brother.The fisherman replied that he had drowned in the sea as the boat sank.

The friend again asked how did your grandfather and uncle die?The fisherman told that both of them also died due to drowning in the sea.

When the friend heard this, he said to the fisherman that it is the sea that is the reason for your destruction. 

Yet you go to its shores and cast nets and catch fish, are you not afraid of death?

The fisherman said that why should he be afraid of death, whenever it has to come, it will come.

The fisherman said that hardly any of your family members, grandfather, great-grandfather and father etc. have come to the shore of the sea, but all of them have died.

Till date no one could understand when death comes and how it comes.Then what is there to be afraid of death unnecessarily?

Therefore, according to the saint, the person who knows the truth of life does not fear death.

Inspirational story - True Wise

  Once upon a time some disciples asked their Spiritual master, 'Who is the real wise?  The Spiritual Master came out of his hermitage with his disciples. Talking to the disciples on the way, he said, 'Study of the open conditions of the world can give as much proper knowledge of the situation as it cannot be had from books and discourses of Saint's.  Then they stopped at the door of an old lady. The old lady was sweeping her door.  Some children were playing around the old lady, making noise. Sometimes a child would ask for water, she would give him water and sometimes she would scold some naughty children who used to get angry, tickle them and make them laugh.
